Q: Do you work with oil paintings?

A: No, I do not have the tools for oil painting. I am going to be getting some later next year.

Q: Do you work with markers or pencil sketches?

A: Yes, I have almost a full set of Copic Markers that I use for marker illustrations. You can order Copic drawings from me. You can also order pencil sketches from me.

Q: What do you draw?

A: I draw professional subjects and experiment with colors, perspective, and composition. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of color and style to make the work uniquely mine. For commissions, please provide photos or references of your ideal subject matter first. I will let you know if I can complete the work as you described.

Q: How much are your commissions?

A: My commissions start at $50 CAD a piece on the smallest canvas available. The prices often get very expensive because materials are expensive and I have to make a living from my work. Some of my work goes for over $1,000.

Q: How can I get a print of your work?

A: My prints are a lot cheaper, which can range from $5 – $100. If you are looking to buy the original painting and have it shipped to your address, the prices can be from anywhere $100 – $250.

Q: How long does it take for you to complete a piece?

A: Sketch to drawing takes about an 8 hour session in the studio, while the actual painting takes anywhere from 1 to 25 hours. The average timeline for a piece from start to finish is two weeks to one month.

That is why I only have room for up to 12 clients a year, because a painting will take upwards of one month from start to finish.

Q: Do you do reproductions of popular art?

A: I am flattered you think my art is that good. Yes, I can work on a lot of renderings that are edge cases.

Q: What are you working on after these paintings?

A: I’m planning an art book, a 85-canvas or booklet challenge, participating in Inktober 2026, and drawing a lot of different subject matters.
